Who owns Tageslage?

Nordklar Media Ltd, registered in Gibraltar under company number C 92009 with its registered office at Office 9, Business Centre, Valletta, 0000, is the sole owner of Tageslage. The publication operates as a fully independent editorial entity free from ownership influence over journalistic decisions.

The company is registered with the Malta Business Registry and provides the operational, commercial and legal infrastructure for Tageslage Media Ltd, the operating entity behind the site. Ownership and the newsroom are separated by a strict firewall: no owner or shareholder has any say over editorial priorities, story selection, coverage decisions or the treatment of sources. This structural separation is documented in the editorial policy and is audited regularly.

How is Tageslage funded?

Tageslage is funded through display advertising, affiliate links, commercial partnerships, sponsored content, newsletter sponsorships and content licensing. All commercial material is clearly labelled, and affiliate links are disclosed in accordance with our published disclosure policy. Commercial relationships never determine editorial conclusions.

Display advertising and newsletter sponsorships form the core of the revenue model. Sponsored content is marked with a clear “sponsored” or “partner content” label so readers can distinguish it from independent journalism. Affiliate links are identified where they appear, and the publication follows the advertising and affiliate disclosure policy to ensure transparency. The publication also licenses articles and data to third-party platforms under standard commercial terms. No commercial partner, sponsor or advertiser has any influence over editorial priorities, coverage decisions or the selection of stories. Revenue streams are managed by a separate commercial team that has no contact with the newsroom on editorial matters.

What you can expect from us

Tageslage is committed to transparent, trustworthy journalism that helps readers understand complex issues without spin or oversimplification. Every article is drafted by a named writer, reviewed by an editor and fact-checked before publication. AI-assisted tools may support research, drafting, formatting, translation or transcription but never replace human editorial judgement; every piece is approved by a human editor. The editorial team follows a strict fact-checking policy and a corrections policy that prioritises accuracy and accountability. The publication does not accept payment for news coverage, and all sponsored material is clearly separated from editorial content. Readers can trust that what they read on Tageslage is independent, verified and clearly distinguished from commercial material.

Who is responsible for editorial independence?

Maximilian Roth, Chefredaktör, is accountable for all editorial standards, publication decisions and corrections at Tageslage. He ensures that editorial content remains independent from commercial and ownership influence and serves as the final decision-maker on all editorial matters.

Roth oversees the full editorial team, including the redaktionschef, politikredaktör, wirtschaftreporter and the ansvarig för faktagranskning. He is the point of contact for any concerns about editorial independence, factual accuracy or ethical standards. The full editorial team is listed on the Our Team page, with direct contact details for each role. Roth can be reached at anders.lindqvist@tageslage.de or +46 8 525 030 61. The newsroom operates with full editorial autonomy from Nordklar Media Ltd, and this independence is a condition of the publication’s founding charter.

How can I advertise with Tageslage?

Advertising enquiries for Tageslage can be directed to the commercial team via advertising@tageslage.de. The publication offers display advertising, sponsored content, newsletter sponsorships and commercial partnerships for businesses and organisations seeking to reach a Swedish and international readership.

All commercial partnerships are governed by the sponsored content policy and the advertising and affiliate disclosure policy. The commercial team can provide rate cards, audience demographics and placement options. For general contact information, including postal address and switchboard numbers, visit the Contact page.
